Why DENSITY?

Why is DENSITY the new generation of calcium?

DENSITY™ is a new calcium supplement that was developed based on scientific studies conducted by Amorphical Ltd., an Israeli biotechnology company. Amorphical has discovered the mechanism behind the most sophisticated "calcium machine" in nature - the blue crayfish. Following years of research and development, Amorphical has decoded the process of production and stabilization of amorphous calcium, and thanks to the company’s innovative technology, Amorphical is now able to manufacture a unique and one-of-a-kind calcium supplement with high efficiency(1) and absorption(2).

Why should I consume calcium if I have not yet been diagnosed with osteoporosis?

Calcium is considered to be one of the most important minerals in the human body.  Our body needs calcium in order to maintain healthy and strong bones, as well as for the proper functioning of the body’s various crucial systems.

Around the age of 40-50, the rate of bone loss increases and exceeds the bone formation process, resulting in bone cavities and fragile bones. When your calcium intake is low and you do not reach the recommended daily allowance, calcium will be taken from the bones to fulfil the body needs. Chronic deficiency of calcium may cause decreased bone mass that could worsen and lead to osteoporosis.

The combination of low calcium intake and low absorption of calcium from food causes many people to fail to provide their body with the amounts that are essential for everyday function.

Taking DENSITY™, containing amorphous calcium, on a regular basis enables you to double your calcium absorption for various regeneration processes in your body.

Why is 200 mg of DENSITY enough?

Because clinical studies have shown that DENSITY is absorbed 2 times more compared to other calcium supplements(1), it is recommended to take 2 caplets a day, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women, people taking prescribed medications, and children, should consult with their physician before taking any supplementation.

What are the recommendations for calcium intake?

Calcium supplements should be divided into small portions in order to improve calcium absorption.

It is recommended to take one caplet of DENSITY in the morning and one in the evening.

Must DENSITY be taken with a meal?

DENSITY caplets can be taken on a full or empty stomach, as you wish. Unlike crystalline calcium carbonate, DENSITY dissolves well with or without meals.

A clinical study conducted at Sourasky Medical Center compared the absorption of amorphous calcium vs. crystalline calcium carbonate in healthy postmenopausal women. The average increase in the absorption of amorphous calcium versus crystalline calcium carbonate was found to be 2-fold higher when taken with a meal and 4.6-fold higher when taken on an empty stomach(1).
